On March 1. 2017, the „Hochschulraumstrukturmittel (HRSM) project“ funded by the BMBWF with 1 million euros, has started. The project aims to build DNA barcoding pipelines for ABOL at the universities. The lead was taken over by the University of Graz. Also involved are the University of Vienna, the University of Salzburg, the BOKU and the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna.
