Dear colleagues and biodiversity enthusiasts
We cordially invite you to the 9th ABOL meeting on November 18th, 2022, which will take place after the 5th Austrian Forum on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (November 17th, 2022). The combined event entitled DAYS OF BIODIVERSITY will be organized as physical event at the Museum Niederösterreich – Haus für Natur.
Registration for the ABOL meeting and the submission of abstracts for talks or flashtalks on the subject of DNA barcoding and its application in practice are now possible (see section Registration!).
We look forward to interesting contributions, lively exchanges and exciting discussions!

The registration for the ABOL meeting is now open! Please register via e-mail to abol@nhm-wien.ac.at
The submission of abstracts for talks (15 min + 5 min discussion) and flash talks (5 min + 3 min discussion; no poster presentations this year!) for the ABOL meeting is open until 15thof October 6thof November. For registration please send an e-mail to abol@nhm-wien.ac.at. For submission of abstracts for talks and flashtalks please also use the same e-mail address.

For those participants who arrive the day before, on November 17th, there is the opportunity for an evening together with food and drinks in the Fliegerbräu (within walking distance of the Museum NÖ). Consumption must be paid for by yourself, as we do not charge a conference fee – we ask for your understanding.
Please be sure to indicate when registering if you would like to have dinner!

Submission of talks & flash talks
For talks and flash talks for the ABOL meeting please submit your abstract by November 6, 2021 via e-mail to abol@nhm-wien.ac.at.
For talks 15 minutes + 5 minutes of discussion, for flash talks 5 minutes + 3 minutes discussion are available.
The conference language for the ABOL meeting is English.
Format specifications for abstracts:
Language: English
Scope: max. 300 words
The abstracts submitted will be put online here on the conference website.
Extended abstracts can be published later on in “Acta ZooBot Austria” at the request of the authors:
Volume: about 5 pages (1.5 lines, Times Roman 12 pt,) – about 15,000 characters per article; specification of keywords; indication of the addresses and email addresses of all authors.
