Days of Biodiversity 2023

|
The Days of Biodiversity will be organized this year as a joint conference by ABOL, BOKU, Network Biodiversity, NOBIS and ZooBot at BOKU in Vienna, so there will be no separate ABOL meeting in 2023. The program will be very diverse and is intended to appeal scientists, stakeholders and the general public. Planning is in full progress, we'll keep you informed!

ABOL BioBlitz 2023
|
|
This year ABOL will start the Citizen Science campaign ABOL BioBlitzes for the 5th time and generate DNA barcodes at the Days of Biodiversity and - this year for the 2nd time - at the ÖEG insect camp. City Nature Challenge 2023
|
|
This year, 12 Austrian regions (-> see here) are taking part in the City Nature Challenge, in which as many species as possible are to be observed from April 28th to May 1st. Vienna, an extraordinarily species-rich city, is also taking part, organized by Nikola Szucsich and Lorin Timaeus (-> see here; pages in German only).
